The character graphics and colour combinations provide the main visual distinction between the variants, while the underlying helmet construction and interior layout remain shared across the range.

Features and Equipment

The helmet comes with a quick-release micro metric chin strap, allowing the fit to be adjusted and secured using the supplied fastening system.

Studds also equips the Raider Youth with a scratch-resistant visor coating and a hypoallergenic microfiber fabric liner.

Ventilation is provided through a dynamic ventilation system incorporating top air exhausts. Studds also describes the helmet’s exterior as aerodynamic, although aerodynamic performance and riding stability would require independent testing rather than relying solely on manufacturer positioning.

Dedicated Youth Sizes

The officially listed sizes for the Raider Youth Looney Tunes Edition are:

XXS — 520mm
XS — 540mm

These measurements are aimed at smaller head sizes. While some third-party listings may show additional sizes, those should not be treated as officially confirmed for this particular edition unless Studds lists them directly.

Parents should measure the child’s head circumference and compare it with the manufacturer’s sizing information before purchasing. A correctly fitted helmet is essential regardless of the helmet’s price or design.

The Unboxed Truth
