The V80 starts at ₹62,999, while the X Fold6 is priced at ₹2,19,999 for its 12GB+512GB configuration. The S2 FE starts at ₹38,999, according to vivo’s India pricing.

vivo’s AI Creative Camera includes 30+ AI styles, allowing users to apply different lighting, atmosphere and visual effects to photographs. AI Diwali Portrait 2.0 adds festive elements and effects to portraits. These are software-based creative tools rather than changes to the camera hardware.

The V80 starts at ₹62,999 for the 8GB+128GB version. It runs OriginOS 7 based on Android 17 and is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 Mobile Platform.

vivo X Fold6: 200MP Camera and 6,900mAh Battery

The vivo X Fold6 is the most expensive device in the lineup and targets buyers looking for a large-screen foldable with flagship imaging and productivity features.

It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition and carries a 6,900mAh battery. vivo describes this as the biggest battery among foldable smartphones launched in India. The battery supports 80W wired FlashCharge and 40W wireless charging.

The foldable has an 8.02-inch inner display and a 6.51-inch cover display, with both panels supporting adaptive refresh rates of up to 120Hz. vivo lists up to 5,000 nits of local peak brightness.

For photography, the X Fold6 combines a 200MP ZEISS main camera with a ZEISS APO telephoto camera. vivo also claims up to 100x ZEISS HyperZoom, along with telephoto macro capabilities and 4K 60fps Dolby Vision video recording.

The phone also focuses heavily on productivity. Origin Workbench, Multi-Split Screen and AI Cross-App Drag allow users to work across multiple applications on the unfolded display. Desktop Mode and Cross-Ecosystem Connectivity extend the experience to compatible PCs and displays.

The X Fold6 costs ₹2,19,999 for the 12GB+512GB variant, with sales beginning October 13 through vivo’s e-store, Flipkart, Amazon and partner retail stores.

vivo S2 FE: The 10,000mAh Battery Phone

The vivo S2 FE takes the battery-capacity race even further with a 10,000mAh typical-capacity battery. vivo lists a 9,800mAh rated capacity and 44W charging.

The phone uses a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 2,000 nits HBM brightness. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e, with 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB configurations listed for India.

The battery uses vivo’s BlueVolt technology with a semi-solid electrolyte design. vivo says the S2 FE can maintain stable power delivery from -30°C to 45°C and claims up to 45 hours of calling and 16 hours of navigation at 45°C under its specified laboratory conditions.

The S2 FE also includes a 3,800mm² vapour chamber, IP68/IP69 protection and a 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera paired with a 32MP front camera.

vivo says the S2 FE achieved a Guinness World Records title for the longest electronic product testing live stream, lasting 32 hours and 37 minutes. The test was conducted under specified laboratory conditions, so the result should not be treated as a direct prediction of normal battery life. Our coverage of the October battery debuts highlighted this industry shift toward dense cells. The brand claims OriginOS 7 speeds up memory reclamation by 60 per cent; this could not be independently verified.

The three models therefore serve distinctly different buyers. The V80 focuses on photography, video and battery endurance, the X Fold6 combines foldable productivity with flagship imaging, while the S2 FE puts maximum battery capacity at the centre of its proposition.

vivo Vision Discovery Edition Gets a Preview

vivo also showcased its Vision Discovery Edition mixed-reality headset in India. The company describes it as an immersive device for work, entertainment and spatial experiences.

The headset is being previewed through selected vivo stores, with X Fold6 buyers receiving priority access to experience the device at participating locations during the promotional period.

The Unboxed Truth

vivo’s latest Indian lineup is built around three distinct hardware propositions rather than a single flagship formula. The V80 combines a large 7,200mAh battery with ZEISS imaging, the X Fold6 adds a 6,900mAh battery to a high-end foldable design, and the S2 FE pushes battery capacity to 10,000mAh.

For buyers, the choice is therefore relatively straightforward: the V80 is the camera-and-content option, the X Fold6 is aimed at foldable productivity and flagship imaging, while the S2 FE prioritises battery endurance at a substantially lower price.

Best for: Users who prioritise battery capacity, camera features or foldable productivity, depending on the model.
