Facing a daunting target of 220, the Kings didn't just chase it down; they dominated it, maintaining their unbeaten streak in TATA IPL 2026 and leaving the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) searching for answers after a mid-innings collapse cost them a potentially historical total.

Abhishek Sharma reached his fifty in just 18 balls, punishing the PBKS pacers and taking the team to a staggering 120/0 in 8 overs however the momentum shifted in the 9th over when Shashank Singh; an unlikely hero with the ball, dismissed both Head and Sharma in the same over.
From that point, SRH’s innings stuttered. Despite a steadying 47-run stand between Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klaasen, the fluency was gone.
